In what subjects and grade levels do you offer tutoring?

We offer services in a wide range of subjects including math, science, reading, history, world languages, and more. Our masterminds (tutors) are equipped to assist scholars from preschool through college level and beyond.


What qualifications and experience do your tutors have?

Our masterminds are highly qualified professionals with expertise in their respective subjects. Many hold teaching certifications, advanced degrees, and have extensive tutoring or teaching experience. They undergo a selection process to ensure they meet our standards of excellence.


How do you match tutors with students?

We match masterminds with scholars based on personality types, learning styles, and common interests, alongside subject expertise. Additionally, we consider mastermind availability and the scholar's preference for in-person or virtual sessions to ensure the best fit.


Do you offer one-on-one tutoring or group sessions?

We offer personalized tutoring through one-on-one sessions for families, as well as small-group or classroom-style instruction when partnering with school districts and nonprofit agencies.


What is the duration of each tutoring session?

Each individual tutoring session lasts 60 minutes, while small group sessions are 90 minutes long.


How frequently are tutoring sessions scheduled?

Most scholars meet with us once a week, though some families choose to schedule multiple sessions. The frequency is determined by the family’s preference, with tutors providing recommendations when needed.


Do you offer in-person tutoring, online tutoring, or both?

We offer both in-person and online tutoring. In-person sessions are held at public locations such as libraries, bookstores, and school campuses, while online tutoring takes place on platforms like Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams.


How do you assess a student's needs and create a customized learning plan?

We assess a scholar's needs through informal evaluations and open conversations with them and their families, focusing on their unique strengths and growth opportunities. Our experienced masterminds then create customized learning plans tailored to each scholar's individual goals and learning styles.


Do you offer tutoring for standardized tests?

Yes, we offer tutoring for a variety of standardized tests, including state testing, SAT, ACT, GRE, LSAT, MCAT, GMAT, ASWB, ASVAB, and more. Our experienced masterminds are dedicated to helping students prepare effectively and achieve their goals.


How do you track progress and communicate with parents?

We track student progress through regular assessments, tutor feedback, and open communication with parents. We believe in fostering a partnership with families, encouraging their engagement to better understand their scholar's needs, and, with permission, we can also communicate directly with teachers to keep everyone informed and involved every step of the way.


What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that life can be unpredictable. If you need to cancel or reschedule a tutoring session, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. In cases of emergencies or unforeseen events, we ask that you contact your tutor as soon as possible to reschedule based on mutual availability.


Do you offer any guarantees or refunds if tutoring doesn't work?

We do not offer guarantees or refunds if you are dissatisfied with academic results, as scholar success relies heavily on engagement and support from both the scholar and their parents. While our tutoring services are designed to be exemplary, achieving mastery requires active participation and practice outside of our sessions, making a team approach essential for success.


Is there a trial session to assess compatibility and effectiveness?

The first month of services is considered a trial session. During this time, we discuss compatibility and effectiveness and assess whether the tutoring approach meets the scholar's needs and goals. We encourage open communication throughout this month to ensure that both scholars and parents feel satisfied with the experience.


What are your rates and payment options? Do you offer any discounts?

Tuition is billed monthly and in advance; for example, an invoice for September services is due by August 25th. We offer competitive rates and provide discounts for multiple weekly sessions—please contact us to learn more about our pricing and payment options!


Can you provide references or testimonials from past clients?

Absolutely! We have testimonials displayed on our website and social media platforms, and we can provide references.


How do I get started with booking tutoring sessions?

Getting started is easy! Simply contact us through the "Sign Up" page to schedule a consultation where we will discuss your needs, goals, and preferences. From there, we will match you with a qualified tutor and create a plan to help you succeed.


Do you provide any other educational services?

We offer a variety of individualized and collaborative educational support services tailored to meet the needs of scholars. While we are known for our one-on-one tutoring, we also provide group tutoring sessions, class instruction, and specialized workshops. Our partnerships with nonprofits and school districts allow us to deliver tailored educational experiences that benefit larger groups of students.


Do you provide any other services?

Yes, we provide a comprehensive range of professional support aimed at enhancing employability and communication skills. Our offerings include resume writing, cover letter creation, LinkedIn profile development, presentation slides creation, and oral and written communications coaching. We partner with organizations to help staff develop their technical writing skills for improved internal and client communications, and we offer translation of documents in 8 languages.
